Empowering Digital Teachers (EDGE)

This self-paced online course has been designed to support you in applying digital learning in your classroom. We believe that completing this course will improve your confidence and give you the skills to integrate digital technologies in your teaching and learning. This course has a strong focus on how inclusive teaching and learning can be addressed within digital learning.

This course builds on written guidelines that the team developed and we would recommend that you take some time to read these before starting this course.

During the course you will build on your existing experience and learn how to embed proven digital teaching & learning strategies in your daily practice. You'll learn how to design, develop, implement and validate active learning methodologies based on digital technologies.

This learning will take place online and is entirely self-paced.

The course will help you explore the benefits of using digital skills, show you how to get started with your own virtual learning environment (VLE) or help you make the best of your existing VLE. We can help you meet your students' expectations and advance your school's practice.

The course was developed by a team of experienced education professionals who are passionate about promoting digital technology in learning and teaching.
